DESCRIPTION:The SOBs’ Watson Picnic & August Meeting will be combined into one event this year! \nAll are invited to this\, our 25th Dr. John H. Watson Picnic\, located at our regular site—the south shelter at Seahurst Park—with three long tables+\, a BBQ grill\,\nand the beach just steps away. That’s Sunday\, August 20—beginning at 9 a.m. and running to 3 p.m. \nAll are encouraged to contribute to our lunch buffet (entrees\, salads\, sides\, snacks\, desserts & beverages)! \nIn addition to eating and drinking\, at our combined Watson Picnic & August Meeting\, we’ll discuss and quiz on the first story in our new 5-year cycle of studying the Canon— “A Study in Scarlet\, Part 1\, Being a Reprint from the Reminiscences of John Watson\, M.D.\, Late of the Army Medical Department”! \nRead the full story online here.
