| ANNUAL CLUB AUCTION A SUCCESS: Saturday March 29, "The Holborne" (residence of President David Haugen and Secretary/Editor Terri Haugen), hosted the annual SOB's book (and other items of interst) sale. The proceeds this year are targeted to help fund publication of the "Best Of Beaten's", a celebration of the 25th anniversary of Beaten's publicationw by the Club. Many members attended for tea, treats, and bidding on stuff which included books, pictures, miniatures of the 221B apartment setting, pipes, pins, glasses, DVDs, CDs and more. It was a great time. |

| Webmaster Lloyd bumbles his way through the verbal auction portion of the day. The group (some pictured below) all participated in two exciting "silent auctions," one upstairs and one down below, which ended at two different times to allow for last minute scramble bidding in effort to win desired treasures. After the silent auctions concluded, the verbal auction commenced, and drew a sizeable addition of funds to the Club coffers to help with the upcoming publication. |
